What makes a premium entrance door different?

Weight, alignment and detail. A premium door has a rigid thermally broken core, hardware that feels engineered rather than assembled, and a finish that stays flat and true through a Cumbrian winter.

Are aluminium entrance doors more secure?

Aluminium offers greater inherent rigidity than composite or uPVC, and the doors we supply combine that with multi-point locking, reinforced hinges and cylinders rated against snapping and bumping.

Can I customise the design?

Extensively. Panel design, groove detailing, glazing pattern, obscure glass, sizes and hardware are all specified per door, so it can be understated or a genuine feature of the elevation.

Which colours and handles are available?

The full RAL palette, dual colour as standard, and handle ranges in brushed stainless, matt black, bronze and antique finishes. Bar handles, pull handles and traditional lever sets are all available.

What insulation levels can I expect?

Typically U-values between 1.0 and 1.4 W/m²K depending on the panel and glazing. A well-sealed door removes the draught most people actually notice more than the number itself.

How long does manufacture take?

Usually six to eight weeks from final approval of the design and colour, occasionally longer for non-standard RAL finishes or specialist glass.

Can sidelights be included?

Yes, along with top lights and full-height glazed panels. Sidelights are particularly effective in a hallway that has always felt dark.

What guarantees are provided?

Guarantees vary between the door, finish, glazing, hardware and installation. The applicable terms and claim routes are confirmed in writing with the quotation, with a named contact afterwards.
